Nepal Leprosy Trust (NLT) operates in four main programme areas:
- The Lalgadh Leprosy Services Centre (LLSC) in south east Nepal. Here outpatient and inpatient services are provided to people affected by leprosy where prevalence continues to be the highest in the country.
- The Stigma Elimination Programme (STEP) where LLSC field staff work with those affected by leprosy to care for their wounds and combat stigma in the community.
- Social Support Programmes where children are supported through education, malnourished infants are supplied with buffalo milk to supplement their diet and accommodation is provided for severely disadvantaged women and families.
- Income Generation Projects where those affected by leprosy and other marginalised people are employed producing high quality handcrafted goods or are helped to set up small businesses.
