Working with Himalayan Batiks has helped them to become economically self-sufficient. The industry produces a range of almost 350 batiks in the form of wall hangings, greetings cards, bookmarks and pictures. These women often have no means to support themselves and their families. It also supports other women in need through profits from its sales. This industry produces a range of fabric and household items for local and export markets.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Felt Industry<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>This industry has been established to provide work for disadvantaged women.
