Our hearts are with the people of Nepal following the devastating floods that have struck the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 26 August 2026, severe flash floods swept through communities along the Bhote Koshi River, causing catastrophic loss of life and destroying homes, roads, bridges and vital infrastructure. Families have been left grieving, displaced and without access to many of the basic necessities they need to survive. Search, rescue and relief efforts are continuing, while the full extent of the devastation is still becoming clear.
For many families, life has changed in a matter of minutes.
Homes and livelihoods have been swept away. Communities have been cut off. People are facing the immediate challenges of finding safe shelter, food, clean water, hygiene supplies and medical care.
Nepal needs our help.
At Nepal Leprosy Trust, we have a long-standing connection with communities in Nepal and a deep commitment to standing alongside people who are vulnerable and marginalised.
